I finished my Tunisian crochet hat! Started it Wednesday night and finished it Thursday night. My hands were a little sore. This was an experiment to see if I could, there was no real pattern, just a YouTube video on how to cast on in the round. So I’m pretty pleased how it turned out. I love how the decreases made a cool pattern at the top of the hat. But I think I will decrease a little differently next time. I will mark this experiment success.

Woohoo accidental self stripping yarn! Who knew. I’m just playing around with some single yarn learning a tunisian knit stitch. No idea what this will be when it grows up. I’m thinking a head band.

This is another one of my yarns, where I just threw fiber on the drum carder at random. I really cant tell you the percentages of fibers. But I can tell you wants in there. Romney, camel, merino, firestar, cotton (call my crazy) Lincoln Long wool. Alpaca, Llama, and mohair locks. I think thats everything. It was a total party on the carder. And was BEAUTIFUL! I cant wait to ply this and use it for something.

Working on an art batt, at my friend’s house. I love playing with a drum carder. So much fun blended so many fibers. This was silk, corriedale, firestar, mohair, camel, cotton, romney, merino, angora. Pretty much I just threw fiber on there. Its a bit of a messy blend but I love it.
