Newest hand spun I’ve done. This is a big blend. It has Romney and locks and all sorts of other pretty fibers. I never know actual percentages when I make art yarn.

Look what I crocheted myself, it’s simple Tunisian stitch. I love it. It was super easy. I found the tutorial on YouTube from crochet geek. I made this with yarn I spun myself.

Mixed up a bunch of fiber the other day. There is angora, and coopworth locks, Romney, alpaca and some other random stuff including firestar!

Handspun singles ready to ply, the purple is 100% Romney, the mixed color is from an art batt I posted before. Locks, Angelina, and Romney.

At Maryland Sheep & Wool festival. First stop, Merino sheep! My very favorite. I love that natural cool, but when I see white, I think of a rainbow of wool.

More dying! I had so much fun. The skeins on the right look very Van Gogh starry night to me. Love it.

Did some dying with a friend today. It has been awhile since I really got a chance to play with dyes and wool. I’ve still been spinning and doing other fiber arts. I’ve just been so busy with my lovely daughter I haven’t hd time to blog it! But I have lots of photos to be posted in the next few days!

Woohoo accidental self stripping yarn! Who knew. I’m just playing around with some single yarn learning a tunisian knit stitch. No idea what this will be when it grows up. I’m thinking a head band.
