Newest hand spun I’ve done. This is a big blend. It has Romney and locks and all sorts of other pretty fibers. I never know actual percentages when I make art yarn.

Look what I crocheted myself, it’s simple Tunisian stitch. I love it. It was super easy. I found the tutorial on YouTube from crochet geek. I made this with yarn I spun myself.

Mixed up a bunch of fiber the other day. There is angora, and coopworth locks, Romney, alpaca and some other random stuff including firestar!

Spinning from the art batts I made up the other day. This one I named Sparkle Berry, I love the glittery firestar in it. I love starting the spinning process from start to finish. I washed the fiber, dyed it, and then put it through a drum carder. The whole process is relaxing.

Hand spun, hand dyed by me. I used firestar, romney, alpaca, and merino for this. Made up the batt on a drum carder, and then spun it. This will be plyed with light blue corriedale silk blend.

I found my ball winder! I had left it at my moms apparently, and when she moved recently it got uncovered. Some how it had ended up in my tack box, with all my horse stuff. Oops. Makes turning skeins into balls so much easier! No more doing it by hand for me.

My very first chain ply. This is Romney/Alpaca blend, love how it turned out. I cant wait to practice more chain plying.
