My first cuff down sock… We shall see how this goes.
Finished this little practice piece a few months ago. Just now getting around to taking a picture. Here’s a link to the free pattern. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/banyan-tree-practice-dishcloth-afghan-square-block
This is what happens on 40 minute car rides. Cast on and knit this much. Woohoo.
I got tired of knitting this blanket for awhile. So I put it in the time out corner. And now I’m really regretting it because I have no idea where I am exactly. And I lost the pattern with all my notes on it. Fail.
It’s off the needles! Now to weave in all the ends, and block it.
This little sweater was knit for me by my great grandmother 23 years ago. This sweater has truly held up over those years, it was worn by me, my little brother, and now my daughter. As I was putting it away today I decided to look it over more closely. Seriously this sweater is amazing, I haven’t found a single loose end. After 23 years! Does anyone have any idea what stitch this is? I would love to try it myself. (And yes that is a crocheted blanket under it, made by my mother. Yarn crafts run in the family)
I don’t think Mac thinks I’m very funny. But I finished his sweater! To me it’s a little short, but I had to modify it since he’s a boy dog. And uhhh the pattern didn’t leave much room for ahem parts, in my opinion. I mostly did this as practice for people sweaters though. Since it involved lots of picking up stitches and such. And I love practicing cables. Here is a link to the free pattern I used. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/102-43-knitted-dogcoat-in-karisma-with-cable-pattern
The bumper stickers I got today at Maryland sheep & wool festival. Can’t wait to put these on my car :D then maybe I won’t lose my car in parking lots as often…. I’m 23 and I can never find the damn thing!
The ribbed collar for the doggy sweater I’m working on. I know is getting warm out. But this is mostly for practice, more than use right now.
Finished another pair of socks for the munchkin. This yarn was knit picks sock yarn in Razzleberry. Love this yarn. The color is awesome. I think I’ll order some more.
